The tune and beats of this song are awesome and so are the malayali lyrics in the middle which are my favorite. Honestly I like the hindi version of Dil Se much better except for Sandhosha Kanneere. The tamil lyrics seem much cooler in that song. The hindi version of this song, Jiya jale jaaon jale is foot-tapping and mesmerizing, especially the middle part. I love Shahrukh in any movie even if the movie sucks, and trust me, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is an example of that. It's sort of sad during this song. On one hand, Zinta is happy that she's getting married, and on the other hand, Koirala is completely heart-broken that she's not the bride. I know Shahrukh feels the same way too as he's watching Koirala the whole time. Too bad Koirala and Shahrukh die together in the end, a sign of true love. Oops, did I just give away the ending of the movie? My bad.... Oh, who cares, this movie released 15 years ago, I'm sure most people have watched it.

A melodious entrancing number, it's good for a couple of listens, but not necessarily the kind of song that gets stuck in your head and you have to listen to it again and again... atleast... not yet ;). Who knows? There are some songs I think are like these and then all of a sudden I'm humming them loudly without my knowing until there are a couple of people staring at me like I'm insane. Hey, this is America. Apparently not many people know Indian music as well as I do. Their loss, eh? ;) Anyway, Like I said, it's a good addition to Delhi 6, and perhaps the video will make me like the song more. I like the ending though, Mujhe teri baarish mein... Jaana hai. Anything that signifies rain is instantly on my mind. Love the rain! Speaking of which, isn't it supposed to rain today?

Ha ha, I like this song. It's totally funny, nothing like anything I've heard before. Kaala bandhar means Black Monkey, and I'd like to see what they're talking about. I'll probably search youtube after the movie releases, I'm very interested in seeing the video of this song. I couldn't understand the rapper in the middle, mainly because he spoke very fast and he's got an australian accent. Never heard rappers with Australian accents until now. I don't even like American rappers, now I have to listen to Australian ones. Thanks a lot, music. :D There is the beginning part of the song that comes in the interlude also, and it's very similar to the song, Ramana Porandalum from Sadhu Miranda, actually it's exactly like it, Rahman probably conducted that part of the song, or he borrowed the rights from the composer for Sadhu Mirandal, speaking of which, that's an awesome movie to see.

A wonderful song from Delhi 6, I was waiting for this album to release only after I heard this song. My favorite parts in this song are the beginning and end where he sings, Re re re re re re, na na na na na na na na, e hai hai hai hai hai, oh ho ho ho ho ho whoa ho ho. I pretty much did a very dumb writing of that part, but give it a listen, and you'll know what I'm talking about. Another favorite part is the second paragraph, Tujhe kya gham tera rishta... suraj ki roshni se hai. I think it means, "Why are you sad? Your relationship is with the music of the sky, it's with the light of the sun. Fly, don't be afraid, have fun. A.R. Rahman has done an excellent job with Delhi 6 all in all. Wonderfully composed. I can't wait for the other music of Rahman to come out, and I'm also trying to learn hindi slowly :D So forgive me for wrong translations and don't be afraid to set it right. Please comment on any mistakes.

This is an awesome song from the tamil dub of Dil se, which is called Uyire. Shahrukh's old movies are my favorites. This movie was nice, however it ended sadly. But the morality of love shown throughout this movie can be confusing, but in the end, it will make a whole lot of sense. Sadly, not many people give love the same respect it deserves nowadays, but hopefully they will learn in the future. The scene of this song is pretty much that of Amar playing his song on the radio, in hopes that Meghna will hear it. Meghna does hear it and tries to shut off the radio, but keeps coming back to turn it on because she too is in love with him. It also pictures him searching for her, but he cannot find any trace of her. All in all, I love the second paragraph, Vaanam engum un pinbam... Verum vaasam vaazhkai illai. Beautiful lyrics.
